What’s Included
A long weekend of campy fun on the gorgeous grounds of Camp Rockmont, a premier summer camp in Black Mountain, NC, on the ancestral lands of the Eastern Band of Cherokee.
Classic and weirder camp activities including riotously fun “color games,” guided archery and climbing, a talent show, movie night, karaoke, s’mores, campfire jam, cookout, and much more. We love adding new experiences to camp and warmly invite you to share any ideas or offerings you’d like to bring to life!
Lifeguard-supported lakefront fun including a floating trampoline “blob”; giant hilltop water slide; aquatic zip line, climbing wall, and spider web; diving platforms; and other splashy fun.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO COOK! Eight cozy camp-style meals span Friday PM – Monday AM, with consideration for dietary needs (with advance notice, please).
Self-serve tie-dye and craft station — bring your own 100% cotton, pre-washed whites. Other crafty contributions welcome!
Room to relax in a hammock, stargaze, or play — with volleyball, pickleball, gaga ball, disc golf, soccer, basketball, tetherball, and fishing — plus biking and hiking trails! BYO fishing gear and license, bikes, helmets, discs, rackets, and racket balls
Boating access throughout daylight hours with plentiful watercraft, including canoes, kayaks, and SUPs. Paddles and life jackets are provided. PFDs required; no unaccompanied kids on the waterfront.
Three nights of communal lodging in rustic screened cabins with bunk beds and co-ed bathhouses. Fill your cabin with family and friends, or be assigned some new ones!
