The Gemstone Oasis began, as many great things do, with a gay wedding.
Spring & Molly gathered friends from all corners of the globe for their wedding at Camp Pinnacle in 2018, establishing a vibe so powerful that it continues to this day.
Georgeanna attended, along with more than $240 worth uh puddin, and saw that it was very good.
The following year, Megan’s friends, Rachelle & Ryan, also wed at Camp Pinnacle. On the chilly fall morning of the wedding, the wedding party jumped off the dock into the lake, and longed for a full weekend of swimming.
United by a shared tendency to plan a good time, Megan & Georgeanna joined forces with the former brides to do it all again – just for kicks!
We hosted our first camp weekend, “Saved by the Gemstone Oasis,” in 2023 with a mission to bring together our “gems” of friends in a setting where they could gather, unplug, and lean in.
Everyone was struck by the beautiful ease of camp, and how pleasant and gleeful it was to sink into the weekend together. Especially when no one had to cook!
The truth is, we are wired to thrive outdoors, living in easy community with people we trust and enjoy, sharing meals, music, and magic.
This is your invitation to jump in and soak it all up.
Be present and silly with each other.
Get curious, make new friends, rest, and laugh.
After all, this is important work —
joy is resistance, fun is priceless, and play is how we learn, heal, connect, and grow.
So let’s get together, get outside, and get weird!
